My husband and I wanted to adopt a dog so we went to the Toronto Humane Society, there are so many sad dogs there. We have 2 rescued cats and were looking for a dog that would be friendly towards our cats. That was Coffee, an 8 year old Husky/Keeshond mix. She was abandoned twice which made her a regular at the shelter, we fell in love. She had such a smile on her face and such a wiggle to her beautiful tail, she hopped into the backseat of our car and we took her home. Every day for the 9 months that we have had her, we wonder how 2 different families could have given up such a smart, playful, and affectionate dog.
