Sam was adopted 2 years ago (he was 6 at the time). I thought the transition would be difficult, particularly because of his age, but he settled into his new surroundings quickly and easily. He is a great addition to our family - the kids absolutely love him. I would highly encourage anyone thinking of adopting to do so.
