My family met Tango, a 4 year old black Labrador/Rottweiler mix, in March 2008. He was a very shy quiet dog, whose owners just left him behind. His big brown eyes were just begging for us to take him with us. We brought him home not even 12 hours later, after waiting outside for the shelter to open.

We could tell from the very moment he went through the door of the house that he was happy to be at home. Since that day, Tango has been happy as ever, following myself and mom around like he was our shadow and wanting to play like he's still a puppy. Many belly rubs, dog biscuits and tennis balls later, he is still the puppy that I fell in love with the moment we walked into the shelter. And I wouldn't have it any other way.
