The love of a dog is truly an amazing thing. I know first hand how a dog can change your life - just ask me about the one that taught me how to skate!
Growing up, we always had a dog, and I strongly believe in their ability to impact a person's life in positive ways. I believe in their power to change and enrich lives, their ability to bring happiness into a home, and their right to be treated with love and respect.
It is my true love of dogs that made getting involved with the Pedigree Adoption Drive campaign™ such an easy decision for me.
Each year in Canada, thousands of unwanted dogs end up in shelters because there simply aren't enough homes. They aren't bad dogs or sick dogs, they're dogs that have a lifetime of love to give to the right family.
The Pedigree Adoption Drive campaign™ is a year-long program to raise funds and awareness about shelter dogs across the country and to help find loving homes for so many wonderful animals in need. This year's goal is to raise $500,000 which will be donated to animal shelters across the country. But we can't do it alone, we need your help. Adopt a loving animal, make a donation or volunteer at your local shelter.
Adoption and helping shelter dogs is a cause close to my heart and I hope you will join me in doing everything possible to help.
